After Michiel De Ruyter's fleet had joined Witte de With, before the Battle of the Kentish Knock. Witte de With sent in a group of ships that had been with De Ruyter but were in need of repair, mostly from damage taken in the Battle of Plymouth. The rest of the ships stayed with the fleet.
