Dutch Captain: Herman Egbertszoon Wolff
Herman Egbertszoon Wolff served the Admiralty of Amsterdam. He fought in the Battle of Lowestoft in June 1665, where he commanded the old Star (36 guns and a crew of 144 men). The Star had been built in 1644 and had dimensions 120ft x 28ft x 12ft. The Star was assigned to Lt-Admiral van Wassenaer's squadron.
