The Amsterdam Directors' ship Walvisch
The Walvisch (the archaic spelling) was number 38 on the list of ships in the Dutch fleet on 23 June 1653. Dr. Elias mentioned the Walvisch in his book, Schetsen uit de geschiedenis van ons Zeewezen.
